Turismedic -

1. Nature of the Company: Turismedic, is a product of the company Richardson Asociados S.A., an anonymous society, legally established under Colombian regulations, located in the city of Bogotá, dedicated to promoting services related to plastic surgery, dentistry, ophthalmology, body and facial esthetic treatments in Bogotá – Colombia, for foreign or non-resident persons to the country of Colombia.

2. Parties: The parties in this agreement are the Richardson Asociados S.A. society, which for promotional and brand considerations will be called and recognized as Turismedic, and the patient that will contract its services.

3. Object: Turismedic will provide services related to plastic surgery, esthetic procedures, dentistry, ophthalmology, body treatments, and facial treatments in the city of Bogotá – Colombia, which include pre-operatory, operatory, and post-operatory periods, and additional services such as local in-city transportation, lodging, nursing service, accompaniment, meals, and other services at the request of the patient, and will assume the cost of such services directly, having previously received an amount to cover this cost from the patient.

Turismedic will provide these services through plastic surgeons, estheticians, dentists, clinics, hotels, and others, associated to the company in Bogotá - Colombia.

As additional services for those patients that request it, psychological accompaniment and tourist guidance will be provided in Colombia.


4. Request of services:The patient will inform Online, through Turismedic e-mail service, such surgical, esthetic, dental, ophthalmologic, and body/facial treatments or procedures in which he/she is interested, as well as any additional services, so that a price quote can be sent for these in which the minimum required treatment and recovery time will also be indicated.

It is required for the patient to send his/her medical history, photographs, and the laboratory exams that are requested, so as to determine if the patient is a suitable candidate for surgery, and to provide the patient with the best possible price quote for the requested procedure. In any case, it is imperative that the patient be truthful about his/her general medical condition when soliciting Turismedic’s services.

5. Validity:the price quote for the treatments and additional services requested will be valid for a period of four (4) months. If the patient does not take the service within this period he/she will have to request a new quote in order to re-schedule the trip.

6. Price and method of payment:The patient will pay Turismedic a sum that will cover the treatment and additional services in their entirety as requested by the patient in the following manner:

a. In order to make a reservation 40% of the price quote must be paid 3 weeks before the scheduled trip.

b. Afterwards, and at least one week before the trip, the remaining 60% of the quote should be paid in order to cover all services and treatments that will be enjoyed in Bogotá.

c. The payment can be made by a deposit in the Turismedic bank account which appears in the price quote, or you can use a credit card on our web site.

d. If the patient wishes to use only those services directly related to surgical, esthetic, dental, or ophthalmologic treatments without the additional services, he/she can do so and will receive a price quote with only the requested services.

7. Cancellations and refunds: If, once the patient has reserved or paid for a service in its totality, he/she decides to cancel the trip, the paid sum will become a credit to be used as a partial or full voucher for the treatment in Bogotá for a period of one (1) year, starting from the date the payment was made. In such cases if the patient travels within the first four (4) months after the payment, there will not be a need for a new price quote on the treatment. If the patient decides to travel after this period, he/she must request a new price quote in order to re-program the trip, and must also pay the difference between the quotes, if there is any, a week before traveling. The 40% reservation fee will not be refunded under any circumstance.

If the service has been paid in its entirety and the credit given has not been utilized for a period of one (1) year, 60% of the sum will be refunded to the patient.

If for any reason, once the patient is in Bogotá, he/she does not receive the treatment, a sum proportional to those services not used while in the city will be refunded.


8. Liability: Turismedic provides its services through professional personnel who are associated to the company, such as plastic surgeons, dentists, ophthalmologists, estheticians, nurses, and others. These professional personnel is made up of persons who are dully authorized to exercise themselves in their respective health services areas, and who furthermore are recognized in these same fields for their professionalism. Thus, B&SC assumes no technical or professional responsibility which belongs to those persons actually providing or performing the services or treatments directly, given Turismedic’s position as an intermediary.

9. Confidentiality: Turismedic will not divulge to third parties any information related to a patient’s medical history, or any information about the treatments being performed, photographs, or any exam results. Any information given to the Turismedic’s professionals by the patient will be kept in the strictest confidentiality, unless expressly authorized by the patient.
