ORAL REHABILITATION

Implants

They are used when it is necessary to replace missing or defective dental pieces. They consist of titanium screws that are inserted into the bone in order to imitate a tooth’s natural root, so that a crown or another rehabilitation system can be installed by your dental specialist.

Prosthetics over implants:

They are used when the patient has lost the totality of his/her teeth.
It consists of a prosthetic that is attached to 5 strategically placed implants that are fixed (unmovable) to the patient, but which the specialist must remove periodically in follow-up examinations.
The conjoined action of 2 strategically placed implants can also be used in order to provide the patient with an excellent stable base for a prosthetic. This prosthetic can be removed by the patient for a thorough cleaning of the piece.
Other prosthetics can also be fixed, being supported simultaneously by the natural root of a tooth and an implant, so as to replace up to 3 missing teeth.

In some cases a decision may be made to place a minimum of 6 implants and have a fixed prosthetic which cannot be removed by either the patient or the specialist.

Removable Prosthetics with Precise or Semi-precise Anchors

They consist of systems used to replace several teeth, designed to be fixed or removed by the patient, without visible fastenings and easy to wear.
Removable prosthetics in poly-acrylics or innovative removable prosthetics in nylon, free of metal, can also be used, all according to which one fits best the needs of the patient.

Highly Esthetic Prosthetics and Crowns

In order to ensure the highest quality esthetics, one can use total implants with teeth in rosin, porcelain, or high impact acrylic, which are ideal for replacing all the teeth. They are made with specially selected materials in order to achieve comfort and great hold.
Implants for the anterior teeth can also be used, which are placed exactly where they are most esthetically required and achieving the highest natural effect.

Fixed Prosthetics in Zirconium Free of Metal:

When there has been a loss of more that one adjacent tooth and there are other teeth near the space at a considerable length, especially resistant materials are utilized that avoid the usage of metal in the prosthetic frame. This procedure ensures a greater resistance and longevity of the piece.

Guided bone regeneration for implants:

In those cases in which the patient doesn’t have enough bone for inserting an implant, several specialized procedures are performed in order to optimize the possibility of placing the implants, ensuring that they have the best support.

Temporary teeth in highly esthetic acrylic and poly-glass:

When for some reason, a patient cannot receive a permanent dental restoration, various special teeth can be utilized which ensure prolonged longevity and excellent esthetics.

Ceramic Crowns Empress II and Inceram, totally metal-free

In those cases in which great part of a tooth’s crown has been lost and the root is in good condition, or when anchoring for a fixed partial prosthetic is needed, a crown that completely covers the visible part of the tooth is inserted.
The crown can also have a metal base, but totally covered in porcelain, or without using metal, according to the preference and characteristics of the patient.

Rosin:

When teeth present a large amount of wear due to cavities, fractures, usage of previous fillings, white-colored rosins are used, which because of their esthetic, mimic natural teeth.
Also, when a tooth’s crown shows deterioration or is destroyed, so that the tooth can easily and at any time be fractured, incrustations in poly-glass are used, which are really special tooth-colored fillings.

Treatment with a stabilizing plate:

When the patient presents muscular tension in the face or neck, or in the jaw joint due to excessive stress or to tightening the teeth, special plates are designed which correct the tension considerably, relaxing the affected muscles.

ESTHETICS AND SMILE DESIGN

Gingivoplasty

Sometimes it is necessary to reshape the free part of the gum, such as when it looks uneven, achieving harmony at the neck of the teeth.

Esthetic faceplates in porcelain (Inceram).
