Planning your trip to Bogota

1. Initial Contact:

You will contact us by e-mail indicating those procedures in which you are interested, special or additional services which you might require, and if you would also be interested in doing some sightseeing during your visit. Contact Us.

B&SC will ask some questions about your medical history and will also contact you by phone. You will be able to make any questions that you may have about the treatments of interest and will receive all necessary guidance before you make your decision. Once you are sure about the treatment that you need and want, B&SC will send you a price quote.

2. Reservations and Treatment Confirmation

You must make your reservation at least 3 weeks in advance of the date when you want to travel. In order to do this you have to pay 40% of the price quote, so that we can proceed to make the necessary lodging reservations, scheduling of medical appointments, exams, etc. If you decide to come with a friend or family member let us know so that we can make the appropriate arrangements.
B&SC requires you to pay the remaining 60% one week in advance of your trip, thus ensuring your treatment and stay in Bogotá. You can make this payment to our bank account (you will be given the name of the bank and account number) or with a credit card through our online payment system.

3. Your arrival to Bogotá

A B&SC representative will be waiting for you at the city’s El Dorado Airport in order to take you to the hotel, where you will receive a welcome cocktail. The next day you will be taken to the specialist’s office in order to prepare you for your surgery or treatment, all with the proper guidance in your language.
If you also come to do some sightseeing, we recommend that you do this before your treatment or procedure since you will probably need a few days rest after the treatment in order to recover. Our customer service representative will inform you about the places of interest for tourism, and will provide you with a guide if you so require.

4. Before your treatment

After your first medical visit you will need to have a few routine exams and your treatment will be scheduled. Surgery may be performed about 2 to 4 days after your arrival in Bogotá. If your treatment is a dental or esthetic non-surgical procedure, you may start the day after the initial examination, if you wish it so.
Keep in mind that if several surgical procedures are to be performed, these may be scheduled in various dates according to medical recommendations.

5. Surgeries and Treatments

B&SC, together with its team of specialists, guarantees to guide you and help you to have a pleasant stay here in Bogotá. In the day of your surgery you will be accompanied by one of our representatives who will assist you in all that you may need, and will make sure that you remain relaxed for your procedure.

6. Recovery

Depending on the type of surgery that is performed, you will be incapacitated from 3 to 8 days approximately. During this time your surgeon will give you the proper post-operatory follow-up and you will also be accompanied by B&SC. Also, if you wish, you may also have the assistance of a nurse, especially when post-op hospitalization is not required. Remember that B&SC will make sure that you receive the proper meals for your recovery and the transportation needed for your medical or dental appointments.
Keep in mind that if you are having a dental or esthetic procedure that does not require rest or recovery time, you may simultaneously enjoy a few days of sightseeing in the city, for which you will have the best assistance and guidance if you wish.

7. Your Return Home

When you have recovered from your surgery, or when your treatment is over, B&SC will have a present for you. Before returning home you will be attended in the hotel by beauty care professionals and will receive a manicure and pedicure, haircut and styling, or makeup, whichever you prefer.
Afterwards, a B&SC representative will take you to the El Dorado airport so that you can take your plane and return home. Once in your country, you may consult with us about your treatment or recovery by our e-mail address or over the telephone.
